Updates

Hello All....on the countdown now. I currently have 3, yes ONLY 3 orders left to do for the Christmas season. Once I am finished with those, I will be "shutting down" for the rest of December and some of January. Have NO fear, I will be coming back....but I will be doing a lot of work on the websites, so if you are on one of my sites and it looks all funky - bare with me! There will be some changes for brownie-goose in the next year, but I will be posting some info about all that when the time comes.

Until then, Happy Holidays to all my WONDERFUL customers who keep me on my toes and are the most supportive and understanding people I can imagine. Keep those kiddos in their brownie-goose...I LOVE to see it, it just makes my day in a way you cannot even imagine!

And the Day Looks Better

Okay, I was kinda starting to have one of those days that was just well, going. Nothing special, couldn't get excited about the gorgeous weather, couldn't get motivated, Pandora not giving me what I want, etc. UNTIL I get a super shout-out from a new internet friend (who I actually met kinda stalkishly) and customer. So, my day is gonna get better!

No New Orders

Okay, all of the Christmas orders are in and I will be hanging with Thelma & Louisa NON-stop for the next month and a half. Therefore, I will not be checking my emails as often, it may be only every other day.

If you placed a Christmas order, I will be sending an email soon about payment. I will keep posting pics on Facebook (please find brownie-goose and become a fan if you haven't already) of the orders that are done and such.

New Dates

Okay everyone...WOW is all I can say as for the popularity of the Christmas line. I have had way more orders than I ever imagined. I am going to have to bump up the deadline a bit to October 29 since I will be traveling around Thanksgiving and want to make sure to have everyone's orders done in a timely fashion.

Just some FAQ's...

Okay, the Christmas line is BOOOMING, I mean BOOMING. In the meantime, I am trying to finish up all of the Fall orders. I will not be starting on Christmas orders for another week or two, but PROMISE to have them all out in plenty of time.

As for emails, I am checking them once a day. I am getting about 50 emails at a time, so it takes me some time in sitting down and getting to them all. It is usually after I get everyone fed dinner, bathed and put in the bed, so I may not sit down at the computer until 12:30 or 1. So, if you haven't heard from me in 48 hours, there is a chance I don't have your email, so just shoot me a note asking if I got it.

Here Comes Santa Claus, Here Comes Santa Claus...

Christmas is right around the corner, and there is no time like the *present* to get your child decked out in the most stylish clothes from BG.

Here are the offerings for this year. I have a great collection of fun, colorful and of course funky fabrics that all coordinate so that you can mix and match until the cows come home. I put a fun edge on the appliqué designs just to give it that extra tough that my brownie-goose kiddos love so much.

But, you have to HURRAY. I am only accepting Christmas orders from October 25 to October 29. So, get your email in! I am currently still holding on orders that are NOT Christmas. Click here to go to my Christmas page on my website.



For the shirts – I have 3 different designs. What you can do is mix and match with the fabrics for the designs, or you can just request it designed as “default” and you will get exactly what you see.

1. oh Christmas tree – just a spin off of last years that will leave you singing, oh Christmas tree how funky are your branches?
2. tangled mess – this time it actually is fun to get the lights into a mess
3. tree farm – bringing home the old pine on top of a vintage car

For the bottoms – I can do pants for the boys with or without cuffs, whatever your preference. For the girls, we can do the ruffle pants with a single or double ruffle or you can add ric rac. I will not make pants out of the green chenille. Once again, feel free to mix and match the fabrics for the most fun.

crazy busy!

Hello everyone, just in case you got concerned...no, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. Hehe. It has just been bonkers here with the fall line!

Some exciting news, before the next week I will debut my Christmas line...so get excited. It is full of funk and bright colors and a little bit of vintage as well. I will only be taking orders for that for a limited time, so make sure you check your emails and keep checking the blog for that specific time.

More exciting news, I finally got around to creating a page on Facebook for brownie-goose. I have had a group for a while, but don't think it is very user-friendly, so I created the page. Please search for me and find me and become a fan so you can get updates of pictures, events, fun stuff, etc.

Sewing Machine

Hello everyone...just a little update. My turn-around right now is running about 4 weeks. I have over 75 orders that I am working on trying to get them out as soon as I can. Thanks for all the support, patience and understanding. This is such a great feeling for me that so many people like my designs, it just means the world to me!

Back at It

Well, I guess the title of my post suggests that I stopped at one point, but we all know better than that. I have been trucking along sewing with Thelma and Louise and getting orders shipped and delivered. Thanks again for everyone's patience and support through this busy time. I am still running about 2-3 weeks on turn-around time.

Exciting news for brownie-goose!! My very own sewing room is just minutes (well, not really) from being finished. Soon, I will have my own headquaters so that I am no longer working out of the dining room, guest room and a combination of the two. I am so excited that I just cannot stand it! Don't worry, whether you want them or not, I will definitely be posting some pictures once it is all finished. :)

Orders Up & Updates

Okay, let me first just say that things have been hopping here at brownie-goose. Thelma and Louise have been working overtime and things have been shipping and being picked up every time I turn around! I keep getting a ton of emails wondering when I will open orders back up and let me just break it down. I am finally getting somewhat caught up, somewhat being the key word here. I have had about 70+ orders since I debuted the fall line, which is just amazing. It has also been keeping me at it since I am the only one sewing for brownie-goose, and I am also a stay-at-home Mom, so basically...I sew when she sleeps. Which, her sleeping is a whole other story. So, needless to say, my turn-around took a beating and I just needed a chance to try and catch up on things. Now for more exciting news, my sewing room is starting to take shape. The HVAC and electricians are coming this week, and Byron is off next week so we are going to try and knock it all out in that week. So, I think what I am going to do is keep orders on hold until Sunday, Sept. 13th so that I will hopefully be able to get caught up and be free to help out with the construction of the sewing room. It also is going to take me some time getting it organized. I really appreciate everyone's understanding. If you just want to go ahead and get the order in so you don't forget...that is fine, email me but understand that I won't be getting to it ASAP. I will keep updating everyone on the status of their orders, and if you are interested at all, I may keep updating my family blog with the sewing room status.
